I’m surprised by the negative comments in regards to our offense.  Aside from a terrible OL, average RB’s, invisible downfield receivers, poor QB play and unimaginative play calling…. I think our offense is pretty good.

I've only been a couple of times but TJD is not going to get a rebound and bring it up the floor, Race probably not either but on a long rebound both can start the break. It is being pushed up the floor and not walked.
Lander seems more comfortable but still going to be hard to beat Rob/X for minutes but early in the season with our schedule, I think he will get minutes to see if we can use him in the Big Ten. His shot has gotten better, but it seemed it only had one way to go. 

A couple of things I have noticed is the practice is a lot more up-tempo. They run a lot more than they did in the last few years. All drills are fast-paced.
They shoot more 3's than in previous years, which we all know is a good thing. I think the shooting has improved just because a lot more shots are going up. 
From just my eyesight everyone seems to like each other and root for each other. Now it's early and there hasn't been any adversity yet but positive so far.
Rob battling X  every day is fun to watch and only going to make everyone better. 
It's going to be interesting to see who steps up to get PT after TJD, Race, Miller, Pstew, Rob, Xavier, Scoop, and Gerinamo or we just go with 8.
I really like Woody, but I tend to like all coaches but he does a great job, and he surrounds himself with basketball guys. Woody, Hunter, Fife, Ya, Hill, Matta, Walsh all basketball guys. Even the GM's are really good. 

Listen. Am I the best mod? No. 
 
But do I come here every day and give it my all? Also no.
 
But do I love each and every member of this board like a brother? Still no. Truth be told I tried to ban a few posters but apparently I wasn’t given that kind of power.

Early game thread coming off the bye week. You’re going to have serious trouble convincing me MSU is the 10th best team in the country, but whatever. Kenneth Walker is an absolute monster, though. *upon further review, KW3 might be an inflated phony* Contain him and we’re just dealing with the same QB we mauled for most of the game last year. Offense simply has to step up, which will be the story until it isn’t. No reason we can’t win this one. 
 
The line is Hoosiers -16 if you’re looking at @mamasa’s drunk-azz site, but MSU at -5ish everywhere else.

Heard and Allen go about as far back as Allen’s college coaching career. He’ll be the last offensive coach let go. 

Cupps is likely a 4 year player that has comittable offers from Ohio St and Michigan.  The other 2 are probably not staying in college all 4 years. Pairing him with a Fears or Little would be ideal.  The question Probably should of been why Little over Fears.

Bama falls 4 to #5 and Penn St falls 3 to #7. What's more interesting is O$U climbed over Penn St to 6th and Michigan swapped spots with Oregon on a bye week because of course. I think Oregon had a better week than Michigan.
Four teams in the B1G East ranked 6th, 7th, 8th, and 10th. Can we kill these damn divisions please?

I can't believe Hysterics was told something in confidence about a recruit coming, or other important stuff before it's made public.
I suspect its got to do with their NIL foundation they set up.

We’ve been to 2 straight January Florida bowl games, recruiting continues to improve, and the image/brand of IU football is better than it’s been in who knows how long. Underachieving this season will not warm up Allen’s seat at all I’m my opinion. He’s safe for at least 3 more seasons. 

Been over 36 hours with no confirmation that an offer was truly extended so yes, another Aaron Powell de ja vu all over again.  I've locked the recruiting thread I started for Rooths and anything new that comes out regarding Rooths should go in this thread until such time as we can verify he has a legitimate offer.  My bad.

Wasn't sure where to put this, so decided to start it's own thread. Hopefully some of the insiders can expand on this topic as we go along.
Couple of things I've heard players and coaches discuss:
Players continue to talk about working harder this year than ever in practice (and outside of practice) To a man all the players talk about how they all get along, compared to other years, that the team was segmented into "sub-groups" (don't want to say cliques, b/c I don't think it was) And they all talk about how much fun they're having. Certainly different body language than what we saw last year. But then again, we haven't come under any real adversity yet, so we'll see how they hold up when the excrement hits the oscillator.  Last night I listened to the Hysterics guys "encore" podcast, and Coach Kenya was on. There was a discussion about how Woody's style of play works better on man to man defense, but not so great on zone defenses. Coach K indicated that Woody is all ready to start on day 1, practicing against a zone defense, because he anticipates more teams will play defense on us this year to make us shoot the 3 (which has been less than stellar as we all know). I found Coach K's comment very encouraging. And he specifically pointed to how it will help our confidence in playing Syracuse. Coach K also said that Woody has changed his (Coach K's) mind on who should bring the ball up the court. If there is a fast break opportunity, then whoever rebounds it, brings it up and initiates the offense. Not exactly sure I want Big Mike bringing the ball up, but I guess we'll see how it works out.

I hope it was #1 because #2 would mean that not only Galloway isn't picking up his game but that he's being mocked about it. That doesn't seem like the positive atmosphere we're being otherwise shown. 
My guess that it is #1 and TJD is just laughing at the idiosyncrasies in Woodson's speech like referring to himself in the third person or, in this case, pluralizing Galloway's and Geronimo's names, as you said.

Woody "Cause he knows exactly where I'm coming from when it comes to that" (nope, that wasn't why he was laughing)
Revsine "Trayce (who is still grinning) what are you thinking right now? 
Trayce (trying to recover) "Oh, I agree. 100%. He said Geronimo, and Geronimo has brought it to another level."
