Looks like they participated in warm-ups, so they will probably give it a go. Worth monitoring though - -

Honestly I am just glad our personnel issues aren't COVID related, especially as I look across the NCAA & pro landscape...what a mess. -
Any chance the athletic department would run with the 'Omar Whistle' (The Farmer in the Dell) following big catches at Memorial Stadium?

Crystal Ball picks are coming in for IU on Jaylin Lucas. Would be a big, under-the-radar pick-up. -

With Foley committed, do we have any visibility what the staff is still targeting the remaining 5-10 or so spots? Reading the tea leaves from recent offers & visits I am guessing QB, RB, WR, DL, LB from HS/portal. -

For what it's worth, just saw a crystal ball pick pop up for FAU and their Quality Control Coach Hines Ward (!?) for Jaylin. Looking at his social media, it looks like FAU, La Tech, Tulane and IU were all in-home to see him recently - will be a fun one to watch as we march to Wednesday. -

Not to derail the thread, but are we projecting any of our 'Covid Juniors' e.g. X, Rob, Parker, Miller, Durr, and Race to come back for their Super (Super) Senior Year's? In some cases this will be their age 24, 25 season so I can understand the desire to move on - but keeping 2-3 immediately plugs some of the roster holes for next season. -

Damn, Ty Wise into pooooooortal. I know Hagen was a part of his initial recruitment, I wouldn't be surprised to see Purdue get involved here. -

Oh for sure, I doubt we will ever hear much outside the program, but I am hopeful he is able to find 'his guys' in short order. -

Assuming a walk-on here, but seeing that LB Jackson Schott, originally from Greenwood/Center Grove, will be transferring in from Miami (OH.) -

DEP makes what four transfers from the RB room over the last six, seven months? I am sure every situation is different, but damn - that’s a ton of turn over. -

This. In addition to Eeddy, look at Trevion Williams who is a bit smaller, 6'8" or so, and was a 3* ranked in the 150's out of HS - look at him today. As much at it pains me to say, CMP is tremendous when it comes to finding under recruited bigs that fit his system. -

I always admired Coach Mike Davis's approach at Texas So, he knew his players would take lumps OOC so he would ensure they were taken care of on the road during the first two months or so of the season - nice hotels, good meals, etc. Treated his team like pro's, I'm sure that is why they fought for him like hell during the conference slate.

Based on CMW's comments last week during his radio show and what transpired in the game on Saturday I would assume Leal. But it's a great question.... -

Correct me if I am wrong, but he is the smaller back that was primarily used for pass catching, return game, etc? If so, I would love to have him - he was a team captain and by all accounts a culture creator on the team.
