I just can’t understand how someone on the staff hasn’t put a stop to his 6’ drift release.  It’s an auto-miss.  He’s never made 1 shot, ever, when drifting violently to his left.

Cupps had a wide open corner 3 but instead dribbled into the middle of the court and shot an 18 foot 2, which he missed, while drifting to his left side. I don’t get it.

Would've liked to see Leal shoot that 3 on the break. Was pretty much wide open. 

The PU sign game is not strong.

I stand by my comment all year. Sparks literally looks like he’s never dribbled a basketball a day in his life, he literally loses the ball everytime he dribbles it. The only time he should handle the ball is right under the rim for a dunk or bunny.

Love that for Anthony Leal!  Those defensive plays he made against Perkins in the final two minutes when Perkins was trying to take over is big time stuff.
For those of us that have been begging for him to play, hopefully CMW sees he needs to play big  time minutes going forward for this team.  Clutch shot by Cupps. Let’s go!

I’ll be honest I never thought he could ball out like this. He could have easily transferred but stuck with it. Something you don’t see today….loyalty. He deserves every bit of praise tonight and really hope to see him play every game from here on out. Fantastic outing Leal! 
 

Let's hope leal just finishes his career strong. He can do it.

Sandfort hit the crushing corner shot as the clock was expiring, for Iowa to take the lead, but we proceed to finish on a 8-0 run. Love it.

Good first half.  Rough last couple minutes but, overall satisfaction.  I just.  I really don’t like some of the lineups we played in the last 5 min.  It’s malpractice.  I can’t understand the need to have set combinations of guys who play the same shift every outing.  Anyway, nice having Kel’el back.  Hope Malik is ok.

Please let this trend continue.  Couple shooters on the floor.  Ready to shoot the ball.  

We go entire games without hitting this many 3's, and Woodson finds a way to make sure all three guys who made them are off the floor when we've only been called for 2 fouls the entire half. Amazing.
