and their cheerleaders can't do what our cheerleaders can do

we just got our @sses handed to us on national television by a college basketball team whose only black student on the roster is a walk-on. ok, I made that walk-on part up, but the rest is definitely true. they only have one black student on the whole team. in the most liberal city in america. and they just wrecked us. what happened?

our culture is guys on the team doing a 3-ball celebration like they are smoking a roach.
I love the potheads in my life, but all of them are underachievers in life, lovable underachievers most of them, but all underachievers.

that team is good, very well coached, a catholic school, good clean guys on the team, great culture.
this is a teaching moment for everybody in the organization, top to bottom. all offseason.
I hope they watch this tape over and over and over again all offseason, and ask, what should we have done on that play, what should we have done on that play...

Never would think they'd run Indiana out of the gym in March, though. Ouch.
yep. but last big loss of the first season of our coaching staff and players. should be a good teaching moment to ponder all offseason. onward and upward.

they are tough and well coached (st marys) but our guys should be able to win the last 10 mins, am I right?
-
they are tired (st marys) it is time to takeover this game now and run it

Galloway playing some sweet old school white guy ball. Nice IU highlight going into the timeout.

I like Geronimo taking a three after being on the foul line. I like all our guys taking a wide open 3 after taking a couple of free throws

I like the way the offense begins to look coherent in the dribble drive today. gotta hit shots now.

Sent from my SM-G986U using BtownBanners mobile app
and most of those were defended. they got a few wide open shots and hit them, but most of those threes they hit came down against some pretty good defense.

yep. gonna give them a chance to get going after halftime, and on a short leash, then if they still suck gonna do something fun. like build a ceiling storage unit for the guest bedroom.

and Bardo on top of everything else? I don't watch IU so I can be put into a bad mood. this one seems like just automatic bad mood. I'm about to check out and brass cannon can come in for me now for the rest of the game.

What is the point in watching if the refs cheat and are allowed to do so?

Has Jordan Hulls started his new job at IU yet? IU really needs him badly to teach the guys on this team how to shoot like they play for Indiana University. I just don't see how the team lives up to this level of pre-season hype if the whole team still can't shoot the ball again next year. I am loving the hype, but IU gets a lot of pre-season hype nearly every season, and often a lot of that talk is based on brand recognition and writers who like to suckup to the fanbase in the offseason to get IU fans to read articles when talk is cheap. I love that we are expected to be better next year, but the team's ceiling is lowered significantly if the team still can't shoot the ball. A lot of guys on this IU team need to get better at shooting in order to meet the lofty pre-season projections of sportswriters.
