    According to Rabjohns the visit has had staying power. Sounds like he really loved it. Will be interesting to see what happens in the next week or so

    FWIW Minnesota’s insider writer posted on their board he is hearing its between Marquette and IU( we have known that for a while) and that a decision could come very soon.

    I like the pictures of his mom wearing IU gear that she purchased.
    I like the fact that he canceled his Marquette visit and will make a decision with us as the last visit.
    I like our chances a lot.

    The staff (Archie and Ostrom in particular) and future team members Leal & Galloway have done just about everything possible to secure his commitment.  I really feel it in my bones that we're going to land him.  Hope it's not just arthritis.

    I really hope the fans/admin let Archie make it to next season...we have something REALLY special in the works. I honestly have zero expectations this year and am hoping for the best but there’s a lot of question marks and uncertainties going into this season and it’s impossible to gauge this team. Archie is really going to have to max the potential of every player this season. Not looking past this season but it’s hard to not get excited already for the following season knowing what we have coming in with Leal, Galloway, Geronimo, and possibly Garcia.

    Lol. It’s only part of it because it happened to fall on the same day and my group of people are IU fans. Golfing at the par 3 course, drink and eat, go to HH and then party for the rest of the night.

    Nick Baumgart comparing Geronimo to Matt Cross -
    Jordan Geronimo avg'd around 10 ppg on Gauntlet.  Matt Cross put up 23 in EYBL.  So Cross had the better summer, right? Except Geronimo's PPP numbers were better ACROSS the board.  Misleading bc Cross took way more possessions - 369 to JG's 168.  Geronimo > Cross.
    Cross gets rave reviews for his offense, yet:
    •Overall PPP: Geronimo 0.94 to 0.82 
    •1/2 Ct PPP: Geronimo 0.89 to 0.78
    •Transition PPP: Geronimo 1.11 to 0.96
    Cross great shooter?   •Catch-and-shoot PPP:  Geronimo 0.91 to 0.89
    IU won w/ Geronimo. Check this in 4yrs.      [Hope Nick's right!]

    So, U.Va. offers to add a year to Tony Bennett's contract and give him a raise. He takes the extra year, but turns down the raise. Says that he and his wife are more than happy with the money they're making and tells U.Va. to spend the money on his assistants or on other athletic programs. ... Is this guy for real?

    I'm with you on many things, but not this one. Pack is listed as a 5'10 165 pound 3 star, ranked outside the top 150. If he committed to IU I think you would be complaining about how we picked up an undersized pg ranked 195th in the country.
