Not saying he didn’t, but I believe Kopp was better at the 3 than JG, even if I felt JG should have played more. I would have felt better with Race at the 3 and JG at the 4. It’s just an odd situation because we really didn’t have a great 3 spot this year with Bates being up and down while also not playing much.

I agree that Bates and Geronimo should have played more, as should have Leal. I don’t think JG should have seen time at the 3 because he can’t guard guys with quickness and he struggles with handling the ball. He has so much potential, but he would have hurt us at the 3 IMO.

Who is your favorite all-time IU basketball player and why? For me, it is Tom Coverdale. Being a fellow red head helped, but just loved the way he played the game. The first players that I truly remember as a kid are Guyton and Lewis, but really took to Coverdale. Liked his physical style of play and could shoot it. I tried to mimic my game after his. Hey All, Natty, UpperArlington, and I are going to the Sept 18th game vs Cincy, and would love to get a tailgate/get together with other board members! It’s a 12et/11ct kickoff, and I would get there early to set up shop for everyone to come by. I don’t know if I plan to do much food, but if people want to chip in then we can get people fed and drink the day away. Please let me know if you can make it, because I will at least get snacks and some drinks for everyone. Hope to see a lot of you there, and I will post this on HSN as well.
