Hoo's Next: Samford
Samford has three players averaging double figures in the scoring department in their first two games. First is Raijon Kelly, a 6'4 Junior guard at 16 points per game, followed by Tim Williams a 6'8 Sophomore Forward at 14 points per game, and lastly Isaiah Williams a 6'1 Freshman Guard averaging 12.5 points per game. Samford brings a well balanced attack and a young squad. They have a little more size than LIU Brooklyn boasted but the Hoosiers should still be able to dominate inside and work their way out.
Tom Crean spoke to the media today about the Hoosiers defense "taking shortcuts" in their nail biting win versus LIU Brooklyn. So hopefully we see an improvement on that end of the court.
Tip is scheduled for 7pm inside Assembly Hall as the Indiana Hoosiers look to make it to 3-0 on this young 2013-14 season
