Game recap while I’m still sober. Was it pretty no. did we win yes. Do we usually choke in that situation, yes. Defense, wtf, first half ugly beginning of second half, perfect, but then you go back to same defense of first half......why? They didn’t change much at all....pigrome isn’t accurate. I don’t get it. Womack needs some second guessing. That’s my opinion. Offense. Hit a lull again. Penix...not related injury. From what I’ve heard, concussion protocol. Ramsey completed the game. Bad throws here. Good throws there. You can see the difference on speed to receivers. His deep passes were great! I’ll give him that. Let’s run, the go deep, he can make those throws, short quick hitting passes just aren’t his forte in terms of allowing WRs to make moves. DL was actually decent second level was trash today. Several close but no cigars for pulling off a perfect game. @Napleshoosier wins the week with 134 pts, got Maryland's score right and missed a perfect score by a single point for IU. @biteoftheapple and @thebigweave got IU scoring 34 while the aforementioned Nips, @Hoosier116 @HoosierAloha and @Loaded Chicken Sandwich picked Maryland to score 28. The three that scored 132 were a FG off from getting a perfect score as well. The lead for @IUsafety shrinks to 9 over biteoftheapple. Good win, defense adjusted well in the second half. Health of Penix will be the deciding factor for this team down the stretch. Offense is completely different when he's in there.

I will be blown away if we win more than 8 and very impressed if we do win 8. Nebraska, Northwestern, and Purdue are all games we “should” win. You have to assume Penn State and Michigan will be loses, but Michigan in Btown may be primed for an upset if the fans show out (I suspect they will as we’re one win away from a bowl and a win against Michigan could get us some looks at better bowls). I think if we learned anything today it should be that really bad teams can play better than expected (Illinois). This is a game IU normally gives away but found the guts to pull it out. The score doesn’t matter, just the W. Now onto the next, get better and strive for 1-0

You should look at how many carries Scott got once Ramsey entered the game. That is why the time of possession was much higher. For some reason they did not run the ball until penix left the game. That has nothing to do with Penix Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

He made a few plays with his legs, a few nice reads and throws to Hendershot in particular, and one good deep throw to Westbrook for a TD. True. He also missed a few very easy throws, left a couple others short, and made several others which arrived late. He showed every reason why he lost his job to begin with (consistency and arm strength). He's a decent backup QB and did just enough; but he also showed why the playbook is condensed and limited with him vs. Penix. Congratulations to him and to the team; but seeing him for who he is was pretty obvious today. I'm not going to pick on him, but it's not objective to glorify him, either.

Lol if that happens somebody in Khakis will be hitchhiking back to Ann Arbor.
