DeVonte Green and Al Durham. Fantastic news that the coaching staff has officially announced that DeVonte has completely bought in.

We are still working hard to get him to flip, will be hard...but this was a torn decision. Family wanted him at IU and to stay in state and play for Tom Allen, but obviously it’s hard to pass up a program that turns out good DLine. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

So I haven’t touched on recruiting that much mainly because it’s been dead period and that just ended recently. Coaches will be going back out this week, per toms press conference today....where idk im sure we will see later this week. On Charlie it looks like he is a preferred walk on priority and will have the opportunity to earn a scholly should he decide to enroll at IU. Scholly would come sooner rather than later once he’s on campus. So good for him he’d be a terrific add and get by this staff. It’s basically between us TN, IN state, and Michigan.

Alante is a special kind of player. Reminds me of whop. Heard his name a couple of weeks back....then saw we offered when it was retweeted in my thread. From his film you see great athleticism and a good motor. Great speed and change of direction. Will play everywhere on the offensive side of the ball and return game. Is in prep school. Was a Texas tech commit, didn’t end up qualifying because of a grade or testing of some sort. He should be fine due to prep school and he’s at one of the top prep schools. Kid picked up an offer a while back and I thought I added him. Kid is a playmaker and has top talent speed. Reads the field well and plays bigger than his size that’s indicated. Kids been a top priority since the summer months. Kid has the length this staff likes. Great athleticism. Reminds me of a Bedford. Maybe not as ready as we saw from Bedford on Saturday, but can develop to become a book end at tackle. Lots to like from his tape. If we land him it will be nice to see Bedford and him playing together unless rafferty gets a hold on that position, but I’d like to see the flexibility to moving raferty to guard, just to see him get playing time. I’ve heard great things about him. Instead of the death penalty I suggest the loss of 13 scholarships for a couple years. They can have a team of walk-ons. That way other teams in the conference don't get punished by losing games and the offender gets a couple of 5-26 records as a reward (and we all know how that feels) Let them add 4 scholarships a year after that to draw out the pain. I think it unlikely, but seems fitting to me.
