Yeah I have been to every arena in the B1G except Nebraska and Rutgers. I would for sure put MSU above us. I am not sure beyond that I would put any above us for environment after them except Nebraska. Their arena looks awesome! For game day viewing? MSU is good. PSU is good because nobody is there. UM is pretty much the same. Mackey has a decent environment and has got better the last couple of years. I am just not a fan of Carver or the Barn. OSU is ok but the sight lines aren’t that great unless you are low. A lot of space beyond the baselines and no crowd environment. Ours is old but I would put the environment and any seat up to rows 35 and lower against any arena in the B1G sans MSU. Their arena and environment is fantastic. Next time he says this I wish someone would follow up by asking why he let it get to that point.

Right. I expect that hire to occur in August after recruiting is over. We will hear more recruiting news over the coming weeks. It will quiet up until mid August when kids go back to high school. Then it will ramp up in September. Same party just a different year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I think the list being 13 guys that 'could' be considered is different than a list of 13 that 'are;. It's fun food for thought but not really likely to be accurate on the actual people being considered. And a list that lists Kenny Johnson and Dane Fife as potential hires isn't accurate. As they mention in the same article giving him as a possibility, his next job will be as a head coach.

I didn’t comment on this but curious what you would call it? I live in Chicago and see just as many IU games at welsh Ryan as I do at assembly hall and in terms of “nice” welsh Ryan is much nicer. It may not have the history and noise factor etc but it is very nice. The fans there don’t deserve it Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

YEP! Any rebuild that far into a coach and ADs tenure needs to be explained/there needs to be accountability and Glass takes no responsibility for where the basketball program is at. It’s absolutely on him and nobody holds him to the fire for that in the media Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Meh he said something halfway nice in another thread about Glass. I even said to a buddy of mine that frequents this board I bet he will find a random way to post in this thread soon. He didn’t disappoint me. These posts cancel that one out and we are back at ground zero. Personally I think we should be further along than we are. But firing a coach is essentially saying you are rebuilding. How fast you do is up for debate for sure, but I don’t know why we get so hung up on the semantics now. He essentially admitted we were rebuilding a few years ago. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He has improved facilities from what they were when he started... The problem with that is that we were so far beyond the other schools that our improvements just barely catch up to the other schools instead of surpassing them. Also, there's the problem of the most important programs, football and basketball, being at the end of the line for improvements. Those two should get fixed first, and the rest should follow.

Did you get in on that lawsuit against Kona?! Try some of the other Kona stuff too. Longboard and Big Wave are their most popular but I think you get pipeline porter and something else in the variety pack. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Went to the Reds/Cubs game in Cincy last weekend with the guys and stopped by Jungle Jim's. The Deschutes girl was there giving free samples. She did a good job because i purchased 12 of the fresh squeeze IPA, 12 of the fresh haze, and 12 of the juicy ale. Done! Highly recommended, easy to drink, refreshing on a summer night.

Haven't posted anything lately but came across a really neat sub-genre called "Dirty Rock". Kind of heavy blues rock with distorted vocals. Spotify has a great Dirty Rock play list. Specifics bands to listen to: The Blue Stones, Royal Blood, Highly Suspect, Gary Clark, Jr..... Enjoy!

Equal pay for what? The women's teams actually get a larger percentage of the World Cup revenue than the men's teams. "The men’s World Cup in Russia generated over $6 billion revenue, with the participating teams sharing $400 million, less than 7% of revenue. Meanwhile, the Women’s World Cup is expected to earn $131 millionfor the full four-year cycle 2019-22 and dole out $30 million to the participating teams." https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/2019/03/07/world-cup-soccer-pay-disparity-between-men-and-women-is-justified/

Interesting reading. I'm certainly not enamored with several of the names on the list, but it does make good food for thought and will certainly bring a lot of new discussion to btb. https://www.thedailyhoosier.com/iu-basketball-thirteen-names-for-the-assistant-coach-opening/?fbclid=IwAR0sYDUlbbqXXYt31duTYIeM3Vn9jk37ke40ca2KuquavKDCkg86g6fPpPw
