Northwestern leads 50-35 at half. I believe I have Parker for NW with about 25 and Brown with 10. Northwestern double teaming Brown as soon as he touches the ball and being physical. Couldn’t make the game tonight but he has been playing good not great. He is getting double and tripled way more this year. He is making the right play passing out of the double. Brother-in-law is at the Blackhawk Christian-Snider game tonight watching Caleb Furst and says that he is better than TJD is right now and we go to A LOT of CG games. Blackhawk Christian defeated FW Snider 68 - 56. Unofficially, I had Furst with 25 pts. on 9 - 13 FG; 0-1 on 3's; 7-11 FT; 7 reb; 2 blks; 1 stl; 2 TO's. 2 of the 4 FT's he missed were the front ends of 1 and 1's. This is at least the 6th game I've watched him play and a couple of things are beginning to stick out. He runs the fast break well, but he seems slow to move his feet on defense. He is really left hand dominant to the point he uses his left hand for layups on the right hand side of the bucket. He did use his right hand once tonight and the announcer made a comment along the lines of "see, he does have a right hand." Also, when he passes the ball, it's clearly a left hand dominant pass. When he steps outside on the wing and receives a pass, it seems he invariably takes one dribble and picks it up.

Marion 91, Mississinewa 66. Jalen Blackmon leads 4 Giants in double figures with 40. Marion started the game down 4-0 as they were assessed technical fouls for dunking in pre-game warm-ups and Mississinewa hit all 4 FTs.

It never fails...we beat someone of signficance, and that team proceeds to crap the bed in its next several games.

From what i remember, he was completely different than anyone else we have. He didn't play the 5 but was an old school big-10 brute that banged inside and out. Again, this is from memory (don't have much these days) but he would clear out the lanes for Hurt who was really skinny back then.

i watched a few of his games a couple of years ago. Man, he was pretty dominant inside. He used to play on the same team as M. Hurt and they are real close friends. I'm very excited to see him conditioned and on the court. He was redshirted for an injury/surgery not because of his playing ability.

The only valuable minutes we get from him are the minutes he sits on the bench.
