For what it's worth, I was screaming at the tv about Fitzner not going hard after loose balls in the Penn State game. My 12 year old bballer told me that he was going hard, but has such terrible hands he can't get anything. We rewound the game to two sequences; both times he was first to a loose ball. Both times the ball rattled around in his hands until a Penn St player came away with it. For Fitzner? It's hard to fix clumsy. The poor guy has a debilitating medical condition known as "Hanner Hands."

Team is 7-2 with two Tier 2 wins and you would think we lost to Indiana State and Fort Wayne

I truly feel sorry for you that your idea of IU basketball is based off of the last 10-12 years. Since that is all you have seen and truly remember. But damn you are negative lol. I can understand Gradman because he is at least old enough to know what good teams at IU are like. You need a hug man. It isn’t as bad as you are making it out to be. You are on a roll today spreading your holiday cheer. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Yes he signed early. Archie wouldn’t of been able to speak about him in his press conference unless he had signed his LOI Early signing period ran from November 14-21. He signed during that time but didn’t announce until last Friday. When he did an unofficial visit to the UC-Davis game he was already a Hoosier Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

This board thrives on generalizations. He's from New York, he's a street baller! He's from Indiana, he's better than other kids! A foreign big man, he must be a project!

Minny wins it. B1G deciding to have every team play 2 games in early December looks to be a great decision. I was hesitant when they first announced it but nothing but great reviews from everyone in the college basketball world. Spotlight has been on the B1G all week. Other conferences will copy it moving forward. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

If I remember correctly the old Knight teams in the late 80s/early 90s used to make more free throws than their opponents attempted. That tidbit always hung with me for whatever reason.

IU 18-9 end of Q1. Jennings held scoreless and we have forced 5 turnovers.

It's true, 18 years in Virginia and Vic was barely a 3 star, 3 years in Indiana and he's a top 2 pick!

We need to go at least 3-1 against Rutgers and Illinois that leaves 14 games despite the tough opponents should at least go 6-8. That would be a record of 11-9. Would prefer to split the other games and go 7-7. While going 4-0 against Illinois and Rutgers

Kentucky will probably copy Illinois having a game at a neutral site...with their opponent being the home team, of course.

Is Minnesota’s floor new this year or have I just mentally blocked it from the past? Hate it so much.

I find it very fascinating our resident Moren hater/doubter has been awfully quiet this season. I’ve always wondered if that was a parent of a player receiving little PT. I’m impressed so far this year. Keep it up Ladies! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Dude. You post on an open forum and you post typically in a condescending or combative tone. People are going to respond. They aren’t your stalker when they participate in conversation on a board. You gotta get over yourself and whatever grudge you have with your father. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

    So some concerns I’m having...

Anytime you remove anywhere from 4-6 scholarship players from a team the play is going to suffer. When you remove maybe the best defender in the conference as well as the 2nd best defender on the team the defense is going to suffer. When you remove the highest IQ guy and the only veteran point guard on the team, the offense and turnovers are going to suffer. That was all McRoberts and Green, I didn’t even get to Davis, Hunter and Thompson. With all those guys injured it’s not only the play that suffers but so does practice and preparation. We dismantled a Marquette team that some think can win the Big East. We lost on a missed layup and tip in at Arkansas against a team that presses in a tough environment when we had a freshmen backcourt and were missing our best defender and backup point guard. We’re a couple injuries and a missed tip-in from being 6-1 and ranked. We need to have some patience. It’s not easy, but we can’t let Archie pay for the fauilures of Davis, Sampson and Crean. Several of the top coaches in college basketball struggles their first 2-3 years at their current schools, including Coach K, Beilein, Tony Bennett, Izzo, and many more.
