That Dakich interview was good. Archie knows what he's talking about. I liked the part about Justin Smith saying he needs to be an And1 player and not someone who misses put backs. It was such an understated but true observation that it tells me the staff really has a hold on things. Exciting. Plus, the way he describes Romeo........ Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

Once again, they did what good teams do; they found a way to win. GO IU!

We got it with 3 min. left! Somehow Glass got to a ball at the left side end line right before it went out and passed it perfectly falling down to Dorsey in front of goal who tapped it in.

Inside the Hall posted the Media Day press conference videos. Archie speaks for over 30 minutes. A lot of good stuff, even if none of it was particularly surprising to hear. Maybe the most candid he got was when he basically blamed some losses last year on having incompetent guards. https://www.youtube.com/user/insidethehallvideo

I've been cancelling the subscription for several years and never had a problem. I think you had to email to cancel originally and now its just hitting a cancel button.

I'm watching NFL Live right now, they are all calling Leonard the best rookie so far this season regardless of position

Because you know they're already IU bound? :) It sounded good for IU but some of his comments about other schools also look good for them.

Kiss Brooks and TJD goodbye. There’s going to be a scrimmage. Both might even pick MSU while at the event.

It came down to the MNF game again this week Naturalhoosier was in the lead with 17 but biteoftheapple picked the MNF game correctly to tie Natty. biteoftheapple won on the tiebreaker to clench the week 2 win. As a whole, the scores this week were a lot better. Below is the week 2 results and your running total.

IU split this weekend, defeating Northwestern on Friday, but falling to #8 Illinois on Sunday. IU did take Illinois to 5 sets, which is pretty impressive given the strength and talent of the Illini.

Looking the other way after the fact when 2 of his players raped a student probably qualifies as well as Sampson type quality people/student athletes like Zach Randolph. Izzo followed the same blueprint as his predecessor and all you need to look at there is upstanding citizen Scotty Skiles and his DUI’s and cocaine possession charge that cost him maybe 2 exhibition games. The lost decade of Crean cost us some quality people though, including Gary Harris. Crean did dabble in rules breaking recruiting him, but he was out of schollies and sastified with the bowel movement studs like Hollowell, Perea, Jurkin and the kid from Broad Ripple. Yogi was the only one of that terrific class who made it til graduation. Izzo showed Crean the way off the court since he certainly didn’t teach him how to coach.

Was able to confirm today that all volleyball matches for the year will be played in U-Gym till new Stadium is complete. Last couple volleyball games may be in new stadium but if not Wrestling will open it in late November or early December. Now as for team Aird has work to do. If you can't beat Northern Iowa you are not going to win much in an elite Big Ten. With that said I have heard great things about Aird and believe he will turn team around in time just as he did at Maryland but this year is going to be rough like the last few and we will be lucky to win more than 2-3 Big Ten games (out of 20).

With the Asst Coach of Wake in a little hot water from the assult in NYC, might make that destination a little less desirable.
