This ones over at halftime. As weird as it sounds this again proves we're playing 'Jerry Yeagley Soccer' last 2 yrs (and according to their PA guy hes our coach again so maybe that explains it). In all seriousness we have dominated E-Ville in past and won every game since 1990 but have had a lot of 2-0 ish games against them recently and this level of opponent. Now last couple yrs we are getting these to 4-0 and up games against low level teams and scoring at much better clip which is what we did in Jerry days and getting teams buses unparked early. Shots actually just 7-6 IU but only one of those was really dangerous and D not at best but does not need to be. The difference between Butler and Evansville's 'Super Bowls' is Butler is just good enough to hang in there and get crowd involved and make an electric atmosphere. E-Ville is out of it so early their fans stay quiet and you only hear ours. Think of it as the difference between a tight home IU Mich football game and getting blown out by OSU at home regardless of how much our crowd is motivated (and crowd ratio works great as well for these scenario's.) Since game ends early and I am only going as far as Btown to be with family and have just 1.75 hr drive (thanks I-69) i'll post recap immediately after. I will not post as we go in second half as we (presumably) add more goals. See you guys after.

Another 2 goals! Cross sent into box from right side that goalie tips away but only as far as mid box and Panchot easily kicks it back in. Than Rennicks dribbles and goes by several Evansville defenders down left side and slots its home under goalie. Route on as second goal unparks E-Ville's bus and now plenty of open space. Were also emptying bench as rarely used Ian Black in.

Greetings from E-Vile. A decent no. of iu fans (same as ND) but a lot more evansville fans who clearly unlike ND feels its their Super Bowl. That said play our game and they stand no chance and most of crowd will go home unhappy. Not surprisingly though everyone showed up in shirt they wanted and no one traded in an IU shirt for an Eville shirt. PA guy still think IU is coached by Jerry Yeagley.

@KyleNeddenriep: Carmel at North Central tonight. Indiana coach Tom Allen has arrived. '20 DT Cole Brevard and '20 LB Ty Wise has an offer and plays for Carmel.

Looking the other way after the fact when 2 of his players raped a student probably qualifies as well as Sampson type quality people/student athletes like Zach Randolph. Izzo followed the same blueprint as his predecessor and all you need to look at there is upstanding citizen Scotty Skiles and his DUI’s and cocaine possession charge that cost him maybe 2 exhibition games. The lost decade of Crean cost us some quality people though, including Gary Harris. Crean did dabble in rules breaking recruiting him, but he was out of schollies and sastified with the bowel movement studs like Hollowell, Perea, Jurkin and the kid from Broad Ripple. Yogi was the only one of that terrific class who made it til graduation. Izzo showed Crean the way off the court since he certainly didn’t teach him how to coach.

All of those measurables for Stewart are nuts. Scores very high across the board, even compared to the guards. We should recruit that guy.

SIAP '20 Ethan Morton will be on an OV for HH weekend. With the recent NCAA rule changes, class of 2020 prospects are now allowed to take official visits during their junior years and again during their senior years.

Well it’s just down right obvious what’s going on here...now that Crean isn’t in town dominating the state of Indiana anymore, Fran thinks he can come in and grab anyone he wants

Louisville insider Demling from their 247 board removed Ramsey from their Big Board and said he doesn’t think there is any chance he ends up at Louisville. Texas Tech is the leader according to some other scouts. Let’s hope he is impressed with HH. Please leave the other junk out of the recruiting threads. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

It's also a chance to gain exposure for our women's team. The raising of the WNIT banner is significant to our program. It's a chance to help build another important facet of our athletics.

Remember when Purdue took a jab at IU with their new motto for the season..."Only the strong breakthrough" Between that and the chants of "IU Sucks" that 0-3 start is well deserved. Maybe start focusing on your own school/program because right now their initials are pretty indicative of their season...PU! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
