Today all I’ve seen is people ***** and moan about coach Allen running over to the students and high fiving them.....on all platforms of media. If that really bothers you....do you really care about IU football getting better and did you watch last nights game. Despite the awful weather that team fought and finished, yet that’s what you’re judging his coaching on.....high fives.....lol then screw you “football fans”. Tom Allen once again wants to be here. He wants to see this team win and most teams in the past would’ve gone fetal position and found a way to lose that game. Allen cares for his players and he cares about the fans, he doesn’t just care about “football” because that’s what “football guys” do. At IU you actually need a coach that cares for all facets behind the team. Maybe if fans actually showed up in good weather games.....as well....people wouldn’t be calling him a cheerleader.....those fans and students deserved some type of thanks and y’all wanna moan about how he did it....I thought it was awesome and he actually shows he cares. If this was CKW he would’ve gone out afterwards and gotten drunk and cussed fans out. Lol get a clue. Support a man who wants to be here. Knows how to coach defense and most of all cares for fans and his players.

Iowa Insider Sean Bock has crystal balled TJD to Indiana just after his official visit to Iowa.

Almost like recruiting locally in a basketball hotbed has advantages

It's a very small sample size but Stevie Scott has filled his shoes nicely thus far.

I’m with Lucel. And with Ramsey. And 100% with Coach Allen.

Supposedly TJD rescheduled due to their Iowa travel. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

I agree I loved it. I like when Crean did the stuff too. It’s great to see people enjoying their jobs and enjoying coaching at Indiana. Especially when it’s coupled with a W! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

What sucks about Hoosier Hysteria is all the stuff that has nothing to do with the men’s basketball team. Sitting through all that is a snooze. Once they do the player walkouts etc it gets fun for a half hour Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Release whatever list he wants. The kid is going to IU

I think we should try for the best of both old and modern: For instance, we could feature a live concert of Lil’ Wayne songs... ...performed by Bill Raftery and Seth Greenberg.

Drop ceilings and *gasp* a scrimmage at a glorified practice? We're doomed.

I agree with Lucel. I actually really liked it. And I know the players loved it. It was cool imo. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

I don't know why Iugradman gets so much pushback on the things he says. In the vast majority of situations there isn't one specific reason why a recruit picks a school. It's usually a combination of things. So no, things like Hoosier hysteria being boring, the locker rooms looking crappy, or the dreaded 'drop ceilings' aren't the specific reasons why a recruit doesn't pick us, but they're all factors that go into the decision. Players want good coaching, they want good facilities, they want a good culture that they fit with. Him wanting IU to improve on things is just him realizing that the more variables in IU's favor, the better.

And U of 6 brought in Katina Powell and the girls to perform and look what that got them. I wouldn't mind having more glitter with a known rapper performing but doing away with the scrimmage would be less than ideal. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Recruits think the scrimmage is boring? That’s the only entertaining part Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Yet he speaks in absolutes. He said recruits think scrimmages are boring. All I want is quotes that majority of recruits say it's boring. Otherwise it is just his opinion. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

This is a large fanbase, no naturally we're going to have disagreements on a lot of things. I love that we all came together today to laugh at Purdoo. It warms my heart.
