Yeah man. Closer with those grandparents than my parents. Appreciate it. Sad that he didn’t get to see this team come back. It’s funny. Sometimes most of the memories you have with those closest to you is sports. That’s the way it is with him and me. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

Drew Davis‏ @1997Davis #iufb target David Bell finishes with 5 catches, 123 yards, and 2 touchdowns in Warren Central’s 42-41 win over Louisville Trinity. Bell’s touchdown with 1:08 to play put the Warriors on top for good.

Ugh. What a terrible end to one of the most entertaining college soccer matches you will ever see. Honestly, our D looks as good as it ever has and gave up 2 goals as Wake converted on 2 of the 3 real opportunities they had all night which rarely if ever happens. The only guy who had an awful game was Muse in goal. Our D didn't require him to do much but the 2 times we did slip he was unable to bail us out and on 2 additional attempts almost let the ball in the net on what should of been fairly easy saves. I would never say go to Caulfield but if Muse ever has a game like this again (doubt he will) we may be in trouble. I honestly thought we may go 0-2 this weekend and then not lose the rest of the year. You can tell me that we play so many good tourney teams and we do but only Wake, UNC, ND, Maryland and MSU can match us pound for pound and the latter two are at home. Most tourney teams while good still are inferior (Butler and VCU are examples of this) to us and we can control those matches giving us a much higher opportunity to win although never take anything for granted. Tonight was such an even match that deserved to end in a tie but did not. The only thing I worry about still is no go to scorer. Tonight tells you nothing as even a top end forward would of been shut down by this Wake D but I do worry about teams at the next level (ALA Butler and VCU again) where a go to scorer can make all the difference in the world between a win and a tie. I expect something similar Sunday where it will be an up and down game with chances few and far between for both teams and an even match that could go either way. These are honestly the most fun games to watch in terms of quality of game but also most nerve wacking as well. Than starting next week we should dominate almost everyone we play like we usually do and hopefully will have the results to show that.

Hope the divorce don't happen to you either, lol! It wasn't on my wish list. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed having my imagination stimulated when reading! My work schedule the last 2 winter's has been work Mon-Tues, off Wed, work Thur-Fri, off Sat-Sun. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten home on Tuesday or Friday afternoon, cooked a meal to eat, then watched it snow while I read for the next 1-2 days.

Agreed. I doubt Archie could have imagined his backcourt being so deficient is consistency and ceiling when coming to IU doubt we see that again for a long time. Time for some payback. Hope we dominate Purdue and Wisconsin this year.

Arch probably feels some payback coming on several programs. He just seems to have this Bob Knight grudge, and I hope we beat any B1G team we play into the ground. Horrible coaching without Indiana players is finally over, and we should see dynamic results starting this year.

Crean wasn’t well liked in the state...simple as that...and yes, he was a car salesmen to “nth” degree, and yes it is so refreshing to have a coach like Archie who is all business..:and let me add on by saying that Crean wasn’t well liked in general. It is no coincidence that we see far more former players coming back to workout and watch practices with Archie leading the program than when Crean was here. And people may have thought Jeffries was rough on crean when he was on the radio last month, but I can assure you, he’s not the only one who felt that way when it comes to former personnel affiliated with the program

Bozich is a tool. I followed him for about a month because he gave updates on things, quite honestly he comes off as a complete punk. Did he even play HS basketball or any sport? Idk. Not a fan.
