Anything can happen on an OV. But the way you make it sound we shouldn't even let him come because the odds are so low. He might fall in love with the campus, he might like cold winters like he has in Minny, he might like stroms and thinks Nicks is the best. He might want his parents to come to every game and we are the closest of those schools. Just get him here and you never know what will happen.

I wouldn't worry about that here.

His comments about IU were as positive as anyone's and were actually more specific, like he's visualized it. Cody and Noah didn't need pUKE, pUKe, UNCheat, or any of the others to be lottery picks.

That was a way too positive response,get with the program.

I can think of a couple of reasons: No banners behind the basket to distract you. If the season sucks the fans will just say it's a football school. You might get used to the smell eventually.

I like the odds of him taking an official to Bloomington. Beyond that, who knows? There's stiff competition for a player of his caliber and skill set. Wow, though, if he signs to play for Indiana...............

Fitzner being the best shooter should put to rest any question about how much he'll play. Obviously he'll need to defend and rebound too, but having a weapon at the 5 will make IU REALLY hard to defend.

This one is such a tricky situation. Do you offer Leal or Galloway? Both will probably take the offer once offered. Can't offer both so what do you do. Also know the staff is torn on which one to offer.

Such a powerful statement; honestly. It's insane and enviable to watch all these other programs just "bounce back", and do it quickly. We could have done it, but we simply made the wrong moves, repeatedly. It's quite clear, in hindsight. Davis was a massive, lengthy knee-jerk mistake. Sampson, a dirty band-aid. And Crean for what felt like 25 years. We have our man, but it certainly feels 20 years too late.

....Not really. They tested differently. Smith basically had an unlimited or as needed acceleration space. The combine allowed 2-3 steps. Maybe the combine used to allow it the former way and that's what was referenced. Does it matter that much? I saw a video on Twitter today of a 5'4" guy dunking. I'm sure his vertical was not shabby. But I'm also sure he's not playing D1 or anything near it. I will agree with one thing, and I don't remember who posted it, but yes it must be slow since we're debating verticals around here. So you're straight up convinced Clif Marshall is a liar. I'm glad your confidence in this program is unwavering. We both know there are PLENTY more unsavory details in the realm of college basketball recruiting discussed between players than inflating summer workout numbers. I don't mean to come off as a jerk, but...well, I'm going go ahead and come off as a jerk right now: The constant worry in this place is darn near pathetic at times. I get why; I want this program back on top as much as the next rabid Hoosier fanatic. But let's enjoy the process just a little bit as the new era unfolds. Pffft, UNC and Kentucky claim they educate their athletes. THAT is misleading.

I just don't feel like Indiana is in a strong enough position yet to routinely land these five stars like a duke or a Kentucky. Now that being said if we have a really good season this year I think it will help for next year but maybe I'm wrong. Sent from my SM-J727V using Tapatalk
