I’ll buy. Deron versus Duke was eye opening. He was dominant against a frontcourt two lottery picks. I just think the numbers seem off/inflated. Case and point, Juwan added 10” to his vertical and Smith setting the actually all time max vertical record of any player who has ever lived in the same summer. I’m not ready to buy that much hype. He will be a starter from day 1. Not sure if he will start all season but Archie loves knowing what he has in McRoberts. There are no question marks. He is going to be a great defender, going to protect the ball, and hopefully knock down open shots. -

I'm with this right here. If I recall, the freshman were on video earlier in the summer showing a standing vertical. You can clearly hear Smith get a head start. That being said, Smith did outleap Forrester for the tip in the scrimmage...and Jake is no slouch about getting up. -

If our team's on-court performance is anything close to their weight room performance we're in for one helluva season. Can't wait. Coach Clif Marshall @ClifMarshall A man on a mission! So proud of senior @juwanmorgan who broke two @IndianaMBB weight-room records this week with an 800lb leg press & a 510lb deadlift. He has increased his max vertical jump 10+ inches & his 185lb bench press 16 reps over the last year. -
