You should let the staff know that they’re gonna have to handle this without you. ;)

Just because he didn’t commit when we all hoped for doesn’t mean he isn’t going to. He seems to really like IU, just wants to feel out the competition to know if it’s right Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

IU is going to have to beat out top competition every year for top recruits. It’s the nature of the game

Goodness that's getting up there. And here I'd be happy with being able to jump over a phone book. 4 feet is just crazy.

    2020 General Recruiting Thread

I'm guessing this feed is his two grandmas. They are awesome. Every game I officiate they are so nice before the game starts, then yell at me during the game. His whole family is super nice people. I believe both of his parents work for the university.

    Tailgating

I’ve been on here for awhile now and I know this has been discussed, but anyone who tailgates in lot 12 or grass lots wanna meet up with me and my gf for a few tailgates this year? I go all out typically ribs and sides and the whole nine. I have a nice sound system as well that I setup. As of right now I will not be attending the home opener due to the fact my gfs best friend is getting married on that Saturday.....in Minnesota. Gf has said oh you can stay and go to the game, but we all know what that means....

Can you just confirm to us that you actually get more enjoyment out of negative news than positive? You seem to love coming out of the woodwork on all of the IU boards any time there's something you can spin negatively.

I'm accepting this as accurate: Wilt Chamberlain – 48″ Wilt 'the Stilt' Chamberlain was one of the most dominant forces in NBA history. ... Darrell Griffith – 48″ Michael Jordan – 46″ ... Zach LaVine – 46″ ... Jason Richardson – 46″ James White – 46″ Spud Webb – 46″ ... Shannon Brown – 44.5″

I saw Matthew Weaver posting on twitter about a possible addition to the coaching staff? Anyone hear/know anything about it?

I certainly understand your point and it may be spot on, but I just don't think that aspect is as important as it's made out to be. Admittedly, I'm an old guy so there may be some generational issues with how I view things like this. Maybe in the end, agree to disagree a little bit on this.

You're right. Poor chose of words there on my part. I'm sure he's a great kid and isn't looking to stick it to anyone in particular. Just wants to make his mark his way and we're not as clearly in the driver seat as we once word. Father/step/whatever worries me a bit.

Three Hoosiers Earn Invite to USMNT U-20 Camp BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer's Griffin Dorsey, Trey Muse and Justin Rennicks were all invited to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team camp July 15-22 in Raleigh, N.C., head coach Tab Ramos announced. IU is the only university in the nation to have three players selected for the 20-player camp, which is the program's fourth activity this cycle that began with the first-ever U.S. Soccer Men's YNT Summit in January. Rennicks has participated in all four activities for the U-20 squad this year – the 12-day camp in May with matches against Honduras, the training camp in Spain in March and the U.S. Soccer Men's YNT Summit Camp this past January in Florida. Both Dorsey and Muse have also had experience with the U-20 teams, as they also participated in the U.S. Soccer Men's YNT Summit Camp in January. The duo also has experience with the USMNT U-18 squad. Muse had one of the best single-season goalkeeping years in NCAA history in 2017, leading the country in shutouts (18), goals-against average (.260), save percentage (0.903) and goalie minutes played (2416:18). The Louisville, Ky. native was named a First-Team Freshman All-American by Top Drawer Soccer, Second-Team All-Big Ten and to the Big Ten All-Freshman team. Dorsey had a memorable first year for Indiana as well, earning Second-Team All-Big Ten and Big Ten All-Freshman Team honors. The Evergreen, Colo. native scored three goals and tallied six assists on the season, starting all 23 matches in which he appeared for the Hoosiers. Limited due to injury for most of his freshman season in 2017, Rennicks appeared in nine matches at the end of the year, tallying an assist in the team's 4-0 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
