What would have happened, is what should happen.

I could EASILY see dramatic improvement in our shooting percentages with the departure of: Josh Newkirk, (23 min per game, 37% fg, 80 % ft, 30% 3pt) Curtis Jones, (11 min, 27% fg, 75 % ft, 22% 3pt) Collin Hartman, (15 min, 37% fg, 68% ft, 24% 3pt) Freddie McSwain, (15 min, 44% fg, 57 % ft, 0-1 3pt) and yes, even RoJo (34 min, 43% fg, 70 % ft, 37% 3pt) BY THE WAY...the average shooting percentages for NCAA D1 last year were: FG% - 49.8 (all five IU departures are well below average) FT% - 71.4 (three of five IU departures are below average) 3Pt% - 34.8 (four of five IU departures are below average) I am reasonably certain that Romeo Langford, Evan Fitzner, Rob Phinisee, and Jerome Hunter can replace and exceed those percentages, and that a more experienced Justin Smith, Al Durham, and DeVonte Green will exceed their percentages from last year ('cause if they don't they won't be playing as many minutes as expected).

I hate our society sometimes. We rarely own up to our wrongdoings, are quick to see faults in others, and never do wrong ourselves. Not one of those players knew anything about the scandal? Not one of them tried to stop it? How can you call the NCAA morally depleted when your team/program has been involved with so many morally deficient issues recently? Once upon a time I got "arrested" for underage consumption. I met with my lawyer to figure out what to do. While going over the procedure in being "arrested" he thought the police screwed up. He was 90% sure he could get me out of the whole mess. He was shocked when I told him I did the crime so I should do the time (alcohol class and 6 months "probation"). IUWS Sets New Program Record with 11 Big Ten Distinguished Scholars BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Big Ten Conference office announced the 2017-18 Big Ten Distinguished Scholars today as Indiana Women's Soccer saw a program-record 11 make the list. The Distinguished Scholar award is given to those who recorded at least a 3.7 GPA during the 2017-18 academic year. The student must be in the second year at the institution. Abby Allen, Cassidy Blacha, Mykayla Brown, Caroline Dreher, Bristal Hadley-Mautino, Allison Jorden, Kylie Kirk, Annelie Leitner, Justine Lynn, Maya Piper and Kayla Smith earned the accolade. IU's 11 selections were the most selections of any women's soccer program in the Big Ten. In addition, Allen, Jorden, Kirk and Lynn earned special recognition for posting a perfect 4.0 GPA during the school year.

The shooting was terrible, but #16 Syrexcuse and #22 Mississippisipisipisipi St both shot worse from 3.

I could see Fitzner helping with our shooting percentage.

So................. Kansas, Duke, UK are seen as top 5 teams this upcoming season and arguably 1-3. Kansas has a player who accepted cash payment on its roster. UK created/earliest to benefit from the shoe company/AAU monster. Duke has Recruit #1,2,3 in the class. Is this NCAA/FBI deal done and resume activities per normal?
