I can tell you he is dominating the spring. He is head and shoulders playing at a higher level than everyone else but Green would be right behind him.

Thank you for the kind words and thanks to all of you-I silently follow along once a week or so. I doubt I'll be here as much next year but will still be rooting for IU. As for B and her ranking in IU-I think we'd both agree she really only cared about winning and being a great teammate. I would say she did OK with the first and was really good at the latter. Thanks again to all of you and Go Hoosiers.

JMV said it best when talking about Romeo to IU and his announcement --- he said something to the effect of "Yeah, Romeo is going to pack 4100 IU fans into his home gym and say ... hey guys, I'm going to the place with the benches under the basket"

Pappy; For the good of the board, if you get in there during the construction process, planting a "black bag job" style listening device in the duct work would be most excellent!

If Smith and Green are really significantly improved we really are Romeo and a serviceable big from being very dangerous. Hopefully Moore and Race are ready November can't come soon enough

Yes Morgan has been there but everyone knows what he brings so not as big a deal. I just asked who has looked good. Response was Green very good, Al, Race, Moore all been good but Smith better than everyone else. Dominating the spring.

+1. For Christ’s sake, they can’t even figure out where the team benches are supposed to be.

Lebron is great and what he did to start the game was remarkable. But that doesn’t change the fact that he gets a TON of calls his way, nor does it change how he throws his body around like a 150lb high school freshman. His status as a great player doesn’t make the flopping and superstar treatment go away. He isn’t the only one either, we just have seen him so many times matched up with the Pacers that it’s amplified. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Also you have to want it for yourself as bad as the coaches want for you. Green needs to live in Cook hall this summer.

Sorry if this has already been posted. Can't wait to see him take his talent to an even higher level ... at IU!!

Drew Davis - Getting To Know Tre Mann On Tuesday night, Indiana offered 2019 four-star point guard Tre Mann. Mann is ranked as the third best point guard and 37th overall player in the 247sports class of 2019 rankings. As a junior at Villages Charter School (Florida), Mann boasted averages of 20 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 2.0 steals. Mann is an elite scorer and can flat out shoot the basketball. Aa a junior, Mann showed that he has extended range as he shot 37 percent from behind the three point line. Mann also has a good feel for the game as he does a good job of putting his teammates in positions to make plays. Mann plays with tremendous bounce, and also has good length. In a November matchup against Wildwood, Mann showed off his athleticism as he took off from just inside the free throw line and threw down a one handed dunk over a defender. Mann is said to be still growing and has recently been listed as tall as 6-foot-4, great size for a point guard. The junior guard only weighs around 160 pounds, and bulking up will make it easier for him to finish inside against real size. Mann also needs to commit himself more on the defensive end, but overall there's a lot to like about his game. At this point the four star guard has offers from quite a few schools including Indiana, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, LSU, and Texas A&M. This spring Mann will be showcasing his talents on the Nike EYBL circuit where he will be playing with the E1T1. The first session of the EYBL gets underway on Friday night at the Drive Nation facility in Dallas. Peegs.com will be in Dallas to cover Mann and the many other Hoosier prospects in that and surrounding events. This is the first of two consecutive weekends when college coaches can attend and evaluate prospects.

Agree not much competition.. but least he is playing well. It would be an awful sign if he were not playing well.

He's not a college three yet, but I think he could be. He's quick enough and agile enough to defend smaller players, and his form shooting is good enough to become productive. Agree that he currently is a college 4, but that should not be the direction he's heading. He certainly as much of a three as Troy Williams was in his freshman year, and by the end of his junior year, Troy was a championship caliber three (though there were some maddening moments along the way). Justin Smith is not as athletic as Troy, but he's about the same size and the athleticism; is not a ridiculous comparable. Just because Justin plays far more in control than WIlliams doesn't make it an invalid comparison.

One thing I think we can all agree on though, wtf was that reporter doing dropping the news about Pop's wife to LeBron during the postgame interview? "hey LeBron good game. Btw, your friend's wife died tonight. Any thoughts?"

Yes and I think we are showing him today how much he is loved. That when this thing starts to snowball in a couple of weeks we hope he jumps on the wagon.
