I think this had a lot more to do with system (see : reliance on 3 pointers) and the lack of defensive intensity than it did anything else. Whatever Coach Miller does or doesn't do, I would bet his offensive system will be more consistent; and our desire on the defensive end will improve over years past. Someone (I think Stuhoo) mentioned above that Crean's offenses were successful; and they were as long as teams didn't take away transition. When they did? Crean's offense could look downright awful. I expect better consistency on both ends under Miller; so I don't think we'll be as prone to streaks as we were.

Appreciate USPShoorsier sharing Romeo's insights. Got to admit, I really didn't get any feeling from the comments that Romeo has a significant preference. Something that did stand out was the comments about expectation should Romeo decide to stay home and play for Indiana. Maybe Coach Miller was trying to set us apart from the other programs and challenge RL that the expectation for him could be greater at Indiana since everyone in this state knows his name. Stay home, Romeo. You got this.

Honestly, the Vandy quote makes me less worried. Talks a lot about school which is great but his a one and done so. The UNC comments worried me the most honestly. Doesn't really give a feel for a favorite tho.

LOL, when it comes to U.S. soccer, sometimes all you can do is shake your head and laugh. Antarctica could assemble a team and we'd probably still find a way to lose to them.

Sign me up! Call me kooky, but I'd take consistently solid- over huge swings from great to abysmal any day. The inconsistency from possession to possession, let alone game to game and season to season wore me out.
