I'm not a Crean apologist, but I think that is unfair to blame him for all the failures AND refuse to credit the successes. Guy won a couple of out-right B1G titles and put together some talented teams, including some terrific diamonds-in-the rough. Would they have excelled someplace else? Maybe, but they DID succeed at IU under Crean. Can't take that away from him, imo. He got justifiably fired for a multitude of reasons. They don't invalidate what he got right though. Now Back to T-Wat discussion......

Reading this article just reinforces to me that we needed to get rid of Crean. The comment about how he wasn't being recruited by Indiana before and how this made him unhappy. Obviously Trendon is a great prospect and it appears we are high on his list. I'm very impressed with the interview with Ernest - he and Mrs. Watford seem to have a really great family. The fact that Archie didn't come off as hyper (i.e. CTC), but rather laid back, is one reason I think our recruiting is seeing (and will continue to see) tremendous improvement.
