OG Anunoby - New York Knicks

NBA draft reporter Allyson Williams: "OG, now that you've been drafted, what are you going to do to celebrate tonight?" OG: "Get some cheesecake." Allyson: "Get some fruit on top or just plain cheesecake?" OG: "Plain cheesecake. I enjoy that." Allyson: (starts giggling at the absurdity of trying to do a standard jock interview of Oguagua Anunoby) Yes, word for word, that was really his answer. And yes, OG is one outstanding, unconventional dude.

And, knowing OG, "cheesecake" is not a code word for hookers and blow. With OG, "cheesecake" is a code word for... cheesecake.

(2017) C Kate Cain to Nebraska

Committed 6/23/17. This would be a nice late addition. Delaware’s coaching change in women’s basketball has cost the Blue Hens a top recruit. Kate Cain, the 6-foot-5 center from Pine Bush (N.Y.) High, has reopened her recruiting, said her high school coach Bill Lacovara. She is now considering Nebraska, Indiana, Minnesota, Virginia, Dayton and Oklahoma, he said. Cain, who signed with Delaware last fall, averaged 25 points, 22 rebounds and eight blocks per game as a senior this past season and was touted as the Colonial Athletic Association’s No. 1 recruit by All-Star Girls Report. Delaware released Cain from her National Letter of Intent. http://www.delawareonline.com/story/sports/college/ud/2017/06/22/ud-womens-basketball-loses-highly-regarded-recruit/421660001/

Trendon knows that football is king in Alabama. He has witnessed how Indiana shows reverence to basketball. Always has and always will. I'm hoping he will want to play at a basketball school.

(2019) SF Trendon Watford to LSU

It might just be bias but nothing about Trendon really points to being a dirty recruit to me. If he commits to bama its most likely for legitimate reasons Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Josh Phegley - Oakland Athletics

In positive IU baseball news, Phegley's competitor for playing time, Stephen Vogt has been designated for assignment meaning they're either releasing or trading him in short time. Guess Phegley is now the #1 catcher.

Durham reminds me of those guys 4 years from now other teams fans mock for playing for 8 years. Those kids usually end up being the ones that sneakily win us games over them. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

Kid said he is still wanting to visit IU after NBA top 100 camp. Also listed by Hoopseen as a kid who could move into top 15. He is very underrated or under recruited for a top 15 kid. I know he is Canadian, but dang. Sent from my LGLS676 using BtownBanners mobile app

    2018 Recruiting Class

High school teams bring their full team with their coaches and play against other high school teams in game format while Archie & assistants watch. Also head coaches and assistants can have full interactions with players since it's on campus. Current players will run the clock and scoreboard. High school officials will ref and parents can come to watch their kids play.

    2018 Recruiting Class

Also a ton of talent on campus this weekend for the first team camp Archie has ever had. Not as many teams as the past but only had a short time to get it together. If you are a good team in Indiana, then you were invited, if you have a D1 player on your roster than you were invited. So should be a fun weekend.

http://www.insidethehall.com/2017/05/16/four-star-forward-race-thompson-talks-iu-offer/ Thompson said he’s intrigued by the program’s culture and tradition, and wouldn’t have to change his game too much to fit into what Miller wants to build in Bloomington. “They have probably one of the best colleges in the nation, one of the best fanbases,” Thompson said. “Up there at the top in pretty much every category.”
