Sounds like we’re taking Goode, so the Humdinger train from Evansville has left the station. He’s leaning Louisville.

Why do we need Goode? Pretty simple ... We lost a No. 10. He's No. 10. He fits the shirt. LOL!

IMO Goode and IU have been in indirect contact for some time and barring some last minute fly in the ointment he'll commit. I use the phrase indirect contact because technically our staff isn't supposed to have any direct contact until a player is officially in the portal. Lots of backdoor ways for negotiations to take place and circumvent that restriction.

3 year contributor on a B1G level team(some of that time as a starter) that made the elite 8 last year. Of the 3 Indiana kids IU would have gone after this portal cycle he has the size enough to where he could be played at multiple positions and is the most proven against Power 5 competition. If you can get him to come here with his same role he played at Illinois that’s a huge win for IU. No chance Underwood would of wanted him to enter the portal

Stop losing to Penn State, Northwestern, Rutgers, and Nebraska. 1-7 this year against those programs was unacceptable. I know Nebraska and Northwestern were NCAA teams, but going 0-3 against them and not being competitive is down right BS.

Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Chances are we hear this offseason how our “2nd unit is as good as our 1st unit” or some similar garbage that leads to a platoon system to start the year again. I do like the Goode pickup, think he fills a real need from a roster construction perspective, I’ll just still lack confidence that any shooter will be utilized correctly until Woodson proves he can adapt accordingly. My expectation is that Goode comes in and sits in the corner for 80%+ of plays and hopes to get the ball, similar to how we used Kopp.

His role won’t be to score double figures. He will be brought in to shoot 3’s and space the floor for 15-20 min/game. his offensive rating last season was 124, very efficient on low usage.

Top 2 in the conference and I don't mean finishing 2nd by going 12-8. Don't get blown out in non-conference games by 25. A good showing in the Bahamas At least Saturday of the BTT Second weekend of the NCAAT

Because he would be an experienced bench guy with a skill we have lacked for years. I have been down on Woodson but will extend some meager credit for finally figuring out how to build a roster after collecting a check for 3 years.

Big fan. Watched my HS beat them in the final 4. She can play, though. She was in shambles after the game, I respected it. It meant something to her.

Because IU needs a shooter off the bench and someone to space the floor when they inevitably go with one big. You’re not ever going to have an 8-9 man rotation all average double figures.
